        Add new layer name it eyes

        (Here you might want to use your magnify glass to enlarge to full size to see easier the eyes)

        Use your paintbrush, fill with black -

        Choose selections/modify - contract 1

        With paintbrush fill with white

        Deselect

        On same layer..

        Choose selections/load from disk/ eyes2.sel

        With paintbrush, fill with #0000C0 -
        (or a eye color of your choice)

         I left the eyes simple on purpose so you could play with them if you like.  (They are fine the way they are and more advanced users may like to add highlights or pupils at this point)

        Deselect



        Add new layer name it lashes


        using draw tool, freehand, width 1, antialias checked: using color black,
        make lashes top and bottom


        Make new layer - name it hair
        Selections/load from disk/ hair.sel

        Make foreground color #C00000
        (or maybe you would like to have a blonde?)
        Use paintbrush to fill hair, then go to

        Effects/texture/fur

        Deselect

        Effects/geometrics/CurlyQs




        Make new layer - name it lips
        ( I did the lips last to fit inside the hair easier - also you can make the lips with or without background color. Since it is on a layer by itself you can play with it to see which you like best.)

        Foreground color=#800000

        Background color=#FF0000

        Use Preshapes/ heart1, antialias checked, size 3

         

         

        Now you are done!
        You still have all your layers in case you want to make a change in something.

        Here is what your layer pallet looks like at this point.
        I don’t merge layers as I go along because I like to go back and change things next time I make one. This was you always have a complete with layer copy in *.psp form.

        If you are satisfied, merge all visible.

        If you want to tube this is the time.

         


        One last note.

        When you resize, to keep from distortion, I find this setting works great!

        Image/resize... Just keep doing it until you have the size you want, then save.
